What are the changes in these scholarly approaches over time? Why these changes happened (if any?)

The essay should be 2500 words. Now the question has not been decided yet so the writer has the advantage of SLIGHTLY modifying the question that  am going to give. The question is: ‘How have scholars approached the themes of race, sexuality, class and gender in ancient Greek literature’ If it is easier for the writer he can focus on both Greece and Rome. Or maybe pick 1 or 2 of the themes (race, sexuality, class or gender) and write about them. want you to write about how scholars have approached this topic and NOT about how Greeks themselves viewed it. The essay has to be linked to historiography in a way… You could answer these questions if it helps you:

What are the changes in these scholarly approaches over time? Why these changes happened (if any?) For example,  see that many historians have written about race in ancient

Greece: 1. Black Athena: The Afroasiatic Roots of Classical Civilization 2. Race and Ethnicity in the Classical World: An Anthology of Primary Sources in Translation 3.Goddesses, Whores, Wives, and Slaves: Women in Classical Antiquity by Sarah B Pomeroy (more linked to gender) You can use some of those works in the essay if you want… Basically create a title linked to what Ihave written and write on that… If you have any questions please contact me as soon as possible.
