IA4 Recorded Research Presentation

This recorded presentation should be the final product of your work throughout the term and the results of your weekly discussions. The core content of the presentation is the results of your readings and the findings you have uncovered. Reusing the content from your posts as you see fit is okay. At a minimum, your presentation should address the following questions:

• What are some of the possible answers to your 1 or 2 research questions (identified in DB1)? Did your questions evolve as you did more reading?

• What are some of the important findings you found in your investigation?

• What is the practical significance of your findings?

• What is/are the contribution(s) of your findings to what we know or do not know about your topic?

Develop a PowerPoint presentation to accompany your recording. Your slide deck should be visually appealing and must effectively support and enhance your spoken presentation. Following APA v7 is expected for citations and references.

• Use the following as a basic guideline for your slides
o Title Slide with your name and date
o Overview of topic
o Your Research Questions and how they evolved (or not) as you read more studies
o Research methodology: how you found the articles you read – which
databases you used and the search criteria. Note: the NU Library is not a
database, but it connects you to a number of databases.

o Results (your findings) and Discussion: properly cite the findings (but do not state them in your recording)

o Conclusion

o References (These can be displayed; you do not need to state them).
