Thesis that speaks on why understanding Black political identities in a transnational context is important for us today. The texts I chose to use as main references in this essay are “Dilemma of a Ghost” by Ata Aidoo and “Homegoing” by Yaa Gyasi. It’s stated that I have to use three additional sources those being, chapter 1 of “The Black Atlantic” by Paul Gilroy, Hammond- Perry, “London is the Place for Me” and chapter 7 of Exchanging Our Country Marks by Michael A. Gomez.
