Task For this assignment, you will gain practice reading, understanding, and summarizing a scholarly, peer reviewed research article. Here’s how you should approach this assignment:Read the article: Integrating community gardens into public parks Write the following:A 200-300 word summary of the article that includes the section headings of the article (for example, introduction, literature review, methods, results, conclusion) and what the main topics are in each of these sections.For the summary, portion, you can mention the headings in the article in the summary. The summary doesn’t need to get too detailed. just want to see that you identified the headings in the article as part of getting comfortable reading and navigating scholarly articles.A minimum of 150 word paragraph on how you felt about reading the article (you could talk about how long it took you to read the article, if you found in challenging, what types of annotating or note taking strategies you used, terms you had to look up, how you felt about the content).
Criteria This assignment is a completion grade, so you will receive full credit as long as the assignment is long enough, covers the required topics, and demonstrates that you put forth effort to organize your ideas and use MLA format.This is not a major assignment.
