For this assignment, you will choose two (2) of the course concepts that were discussed this term and create a 10 slide professional visual PowerPoint presentation. NOTE: The 10 slides do not include the title slide or reference slide.
First, pick two (2) course concepts from the list below:

In this assignment you will need to use course exemplars for each selected course concept which include the following:

For this presentation, each slide (except title and reference slides) must utilize the speaker notes sections. Speaker notes must use complete sentences with the required detail necessary to clearly and fully describe and support key points on the slide. Additionally, include two (2) APA Style references and citations on the last slide of the presentation. For more information on how to cite and reference in APA Style, visit the APA Resources page at the Hondros Online Library.

Design
Consider following this pattern for your slides:
Slide 1 – Title slide (Does not count toward the slide count)
Slide 2 – Create an introduction slide that introduces and discusses the two selected course concepts. Present a concise introduction of the two selected course concepts.
Slide 3 & 4 – Identify and appraise the first selected course concept related to a minimum of 2 course exemplars listed in the assignment instructions. Provide three in-depth sentences for each exemplar chosen, explaining the importance of the first selected concept to each exemplar. Ensure that the information demonstrates a strong understanding through clear, logical, and professional organization. All information should be relevant and accurate, based on credible resources provided.
Slide 5 & 6 – Identify and appraise the second selected course concept related to a minimum of 2 course exemplars listed in the assignment instructions. Provide three in-depth sentences for each exemplar chosen, explaining the importance of the second selected concept to each exemplar. Ensure that the information demonstrates a strong understanding through clear, logical, and professional organization. All information should be relevant and accurate, based on credible resources provided.
Slide 7 – Describe how the two selected course concepts impact the nurses’ need to use high-level clinical judgment, considering how nurses advance clinical practice because of the identified concepts. Present a minimum of three in-depth sentences for each selected course concept, explaining how specifically each course concept impacts the nurse’s need to use high-level clinical judgment. Ensure that the information demonstrates a strong understanding through clear, logical, and professional organization. All information should be relevant and accurate, based on credible resources provided.
Slide 8 & 9 – Identify a minimum of two current health initiatives surrounding each of the two selected concepts. Provide a minimum of three in-depth sentences for each health initiative, describing how and why each of the initiatives is impacting the quality of care for patients.
Slide 10 – Discuss how to advance workplace communication related to the selected course concepts. Provide a minimum of three strategies to advance workplace communication. For each strategy, provide a minimum of two in-depth sentences describing how advancing communication relates to each chosen course concept.
Slide 11 – Conclude the presentation by providing an overview of what was discussed. Provide a minimum of five in-depth sentences as a conclusion that summarizes all the important key points within the presentation.
Slide 12- Create a reference slide where all references must be cited in correct APA format with corresponding in-text citations in the PowerPoint. This slide does not count toward the total slide count. Use a minimum of two research articles/resources, which should be submitted with the assignment. Ensure that all resources are both referenced and cited (in-text) using appropriate APA formatting with no errors noted
All Slide Considerations – For all slides, ensure that you follow general writing rules and standards, focusing on Mechanics, Usage, Grammar, Spelling (MUGS), and Style. Accurately use terminology and aim for two or fewer MUGS errors. Add visual appeal to the presentation, ensuring that the information on the slides is organized and not overwhelming. Use speaker notes as per the assignment requirements.

File Submission
The Week 9 Course Concepts Presentation Assignment is a PowerPoint assignment and must be submitted in PowerPoint (.ppt, .pptx) format. Assignments submitted in any other format, including Adobe Acrobat (.pdf), will not be accepted and receive a zero grade.
In the Submit Assignment area below, click the Add File button and click Upload to browse the files on your computer to locate the document you wish to attach. Select the document, and then click Open. Verify your submission is correct, and click the X next to the document if you would like to remove and attach a different file. When you have the correct document, click the Add button. When you are ready to submit the file you must click the Submit button.
Turnitin
This assignment will be submitted through Turnitin, which checks the originality of your submission against other sources. Make sure to review your Originality Report to help ensure that you are not plagiarizing.
