Greek, Egyptian, Mesopotamian… Choose Two of those mythic systems and a male/female couple from each of the two systems you chose (for example, Zeus/Hera from the Greeks or Osiris/Isis from the Egyptians or Tammuz/Inanna from the Mesopotamians, etc. — there are other possibilities as well).

Compare and contrast the two couples and their stories to show what they suggest about their respective cultures’ attitudes toward man/woman relationships. This should be a standard academic essay of five paragraphs (introduction, 3 body paragraphs, and a conclusion) and about 750 words.
