. You will discuss some of the issues that may arise when practice is not standardized as well as the importance of being knowledgeable regarding the Patients’ Bill of Rights. Prepare an 18- to 20-slide Microsoft® PowerPoint® presentation (inclusive of title and reference slides) with speaker notes in which you present the following issues facing APRNs:

Describe the importance of the APRN scope of practice and how state-specific regulations impact the scope of practice. Explain the key legal, regulatory, and credentialing issues facing APRNs. Include barriers that continue to exist, where progress has been made, and what remains to be done.

Discuss issues that arise when practice is not standardized. Discuss additional professional obligations of the APRN compared to the RN. Discuss why it is important to be knowledgeable about the Patients’ Bill of Rights. Include a minimum of 3 current (within the last 5 years) references to support your assessment. Cite your references according to current APA guidelines.
