Assignment Instructions:

What possible topic could you identify that would be appropriate for a dissertation? What are some possible research questions that you could ask related to the topic? Find at least one research study related to your topic. The study should be from a peer-reviewed scholarly journal. You should read the entire article and not solely the abstract.

What were the research questions in the study? Did the researchers conduct a survey? What were the findings/results of the study? Discuss the connection between your topic and the research study. Your paper should be on your concentration focusing on the political decision-making process affecting leadership. This is a good opportunity to further research for your dissertation topic.

(Introduction) This is where you present a short summary on the importance of your selected topic. Chapter Two. (Review of Literature) The most considerable emphasis must be on Chapter Two.

This where you will summarize the information and data from your references. Chapter Three. (Procedures and Methodology) This is where you provide your own analysis of your topic anchored in fact and reason. Chapter Four. (Research Findings) Summarize the meaning of your analysis and findings. Chapter Five. (Summary, Discussion and Implications) Practical assessment of research and implications for future study. Reference Page. (Cite enough sources to support your paper).
