Look up housing for your local to get a price range
Look up estimated cost of living information regarding your local

Develop an excel spreadsheet budget listing all possible expenses based on your estimated salary in that local
Be sure to account for housing, utilities, food cost, transportation, and all other expenses based on a monthly term.
